Fees

Currently, provided you have a referral from a doctor, sessions are bulk billed, so you will not be charged.

Telehealth and Phone Counselling Fees

With a referral from your GP (who will have done a mental health care plan with you before referring):

Sessions will be bulk billed - Medicare will be charged directly for your session - you will pay nothing.

Without a referral from your GP:

You will be charged $170 per session - which you will need to pay by bank transfer at the time of the appointment

NB: referrals accepted from anywhere in Australia

How it works

First, you contact Dr Cologon via email. Dr Cologon will get details from you and arrange an appointment time via email. You will indicate whether you would prefer video link or telephone (with a video link, you and Dr Cologon get to see each other - obviously, with the telephone, you don't).

If you choose video link as the preferred method for you consultation, Dr Cologon will email you an internet link for your scheduled session. You can use your computer, your phone, or your ipad or other tablet to conduct the session. There is no need to install any software.

If you choose telephone, you give Dr Cologon the number you wish him to call you on, and at the time of your scheduled appointment, he will phone you.
